What's with the painting?
You may or may not know the story about the penguin, who's job it is to climb trees. The penguin is unhappy with his life and, since he's really not good
at tree climbing, he's feeling like he's a failure. Then one day someone gives him another job. His new job is to swim and dive in the ocean and catch fish.
Needless to say, he excels at fishing for he's a very talented swimmer. The penguin is very happy now.
I'm not a penguin, although my ability to climb trees is comparable to those of the penguin. I was not that unhappy as a sales person or truck driver. But being
autistic, the neverending social interaction was very mentally exhausting for me. And being a trucker is physically exhausting.
My cousin is a painter. When I told her about my decision to become a programmer and how I feel like that penguin in the water, when I'm coding, she painted this
“code factory mind” for me, which now embellishes my PC workplace at home.
